Overview

Imagine a destination with a difference, a uniqueness of landscape, remoteness and intrigue.  A land of ancient rivers and gorges, of ragged ranges that stretch on and on and on, then disappear into a limitless horizon.

A region of roaring wet season rivers, exploding over cliff faces and chasms, creating spectacular waterfalls that cascade into deep cool waterholes.

A place to maybe catch that barramundi, watch a couple of Brolga waltzing together in the early evening light, or sneak a glimpse of a big old “croc” sunning himself on the river bank.

A destination called “Purnululu”; a world heritage listed National Park, where you can walk among the 360 million year old “beehive” domes of the Bungle Bungle.

A destination where you can take a birds eye view of the waterways of the mighty Ord River. Look in awe over the expanse of Lake Argyle, Australia’s largest man-made lake, and a true testament to the engineering feats of a developing East Kimberley back in the 60’s and 70’s.

A place that offers great accommodation from budget rate rooms right through to luxurious resorts.  A destination with hotels and restaurants that offer fine food and service, and all at an affordable price.

A place to shop for that exclusive diamond, set it in a band of gold or with a perfect Kimberley pearl.  A destination just right for the family.

A place where you can canoe, swim, boat, water-ski, or just laze about and let the world float by.  A great spot to just sit on a rock and watch a truly spectacular East Kimberley sunset unfold, then fade away right before your eyes.

The East Kimberley, you can drive if you like, you can fly if you wish, you can even cruise in via the coast, but whichever way you choose to travel you'll be so glad you dropped in.
